Other Spiritual Things

 June 4, 1995

Seems how this is my first page in my journal I'll start by giving my name. My name is Ryan Luke Jevne. I'm 15 years old, I live in Riverton, Wyoming, have all my life, in a family of seven. My Dad's name is Randy Charles, my Mother's name is Valerie Jean. I've got two brothers and two sisters. Nickolas Charles Jevne is my oldest brother, 16 years old, born August 5, 1978. Venessa Jean, my younger sister, 13 years old, born July 31, 1981. Candace Renee, my youngest sister, 11 years old, born August 21, 1983. Paul Andrew, the youngest brother, 10 years old, born December 19, 1984, which is my birthday, only five years later. My Mother was born August 22, 1958. My Dad was born September 22, 1954. Well, there's my family.

I just got this journal in Ogden, Utah on a temple trip. My Mom, Dad and I were the only ones who went. The rest of the family really missed out. We stayed in a motel called the Travel Lodge after our long trip. My Mom and Dad had to be at the temple, across the street, at 6am on Saturday morning. I had to be there at 10:30am. I got there, but surprise surprise, I was an hour early. So the bishop took us to a museum close by the temple. It was great, they had old possessions of the early saints who lived there, pianos, pictures, chairs, guns, clothes and a whole bunch of other spiritual things. We met an older guy as we came in and he goes to the temple every day, he's baptized five thousand and some, going on six thousand people. Wow, what a guy! We all entered the temple about 11am and changed into our baptism clothes. My Dad baptized me for thirty people. This was one of my most spiritual experiences. Temples have a feeling like no other place. I'm planning to go again.

Girl Who Deserves A Chance

Ryan, You asked me once, "Why do people love me?" I'll tell you why... Your energy is what makes people fall in love with you. It's how you make them feel. It is not your body, your money or your looks that make you magnetic. What makes you unforgettable is how you transform the hearts of people around you with your simple presence. That is your energy, that is your power, and that is why people love you. Jessica,     the girl who deserves a chance...

Backstage Stooge

Dear Ryan,  You're delightful and a real treat to be around, a regular jack who's so down to earth. What you see is what you get with you. No pretenses, no false fronts, no ulterior motives or ill intentions. You're one to say what you're thinking with your eyes, you can never hide behind lies, and your sighs give you away. Although you're an exceptional actor, you shed those roles only to recreate yourself whenever you feel you need to. I suspect you've got some secrets and perhaps you very well could be a demon in disguise. But I seriously doubt the dark side of you isn't just as beautiful as the light side. You're no one's fool and you're fooling no one. You've simply got to walk in any room and your energy speaks for itself. You're one of a kind, and don't tell anyone, but I think my heart might become rather fond of you. Your co-star and backstage stooge, Jonah D.
