My Dearest Darlingest Sweetheart,
Hello My Love! I just got off the phone with you... you are cute! I talk to you all the time so I have been neglecting writing you, sorry. Letters mean so much more!
I am so excited to be with you and see your apartment! We will definitely have to snuggle by the fireplace... and possibly... you know, for old times sake! Who knows, maybe we can wash your car while I'm in town too!
Really though, I am way excited to see Asheville! I want to see so much, the trip won't be long enough! I want to see the city, all the little cafés and coffee shops. Maybe I will bring a nice dress and we could go out while I'm there... it's a thought. I would be perfectly happy no matter what we do! I should probably take the time to look for a job while I'm there, but who knows!
I have to get up and go teach tomorrow... blah! It is way more bearable to know that the end is near though. I think I am going to have the concert on December 11, it's a Monday I think.
If things go well, the concert should be pretty good. We are going to start with the 'Star Spangled Banner' with all grades singing, and Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade will sing 'Jingle Jive,' which is basically Jingle Bells with Big Band accompaniment.
After that, the Third and Fourth grades will sing 'Blitzen Boogie,' and the 5/6 split class will sing the 'Turkey Tango.' The other 5th grade class and the sixth grade class will sing the 'Little Drummer Boy.'
The after school choir will sing next, 'The Penguin Polka,' 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' and one or two other traditional Christmas songs. Then everyone will sing 'A Candle For Peace' while one of our 6th grade boys plays the accompaniment on guitar. It's going to be really cool, because the lights are going to be out and as they sing, they will slowly turn on these fake candles I bought. It'll be cool.
Sorry I just went on about that forever. It's one of the only things I like about my job. Not that it's as easily done as it seems, but hey, oh well!
I wish we had more money, then we could go on a cruise for our honeymoon! Maybe I could find a cheap one, I'll have to look.
I know you are scared honey, but I want you to know how much I love you! I promise you that I will do all I can to always make you happy. You are the most amazing man, and I know I am the most privileged woman alive to have such a wonderful man in her life! You are my best friend!
I love you Ryan!
Love,
Katie Jean
