Working my way back through Chapter Thirteen, aka Act Thirteen: Finding Brian, entitled "That Black Bag."
There's a scene in here where you realize Brian is void of deep emotional connection, lacking empathy, unable to connect with you on the levels that you need.
So, it's my understanding that he must be the black bag, right? And that's why you say, "There's nothing in that black bag for me..."
Brilliant play on themes, Ryan. Ties into Oz parallels very, very well!
