A Real Shocker

Dear Ryan,

Hey hon. How are ya doin? Hang in there. It will soon be like it was, or better. Hopefully better. I've been really sick lately. Sometimes I wonder if I'm going to make it. There's so much pain. It feels like someone is ripping my insides out. I'm constantly tired. If this keeps up I'll have to go to the doctor. I don't want to, but I might have to.

I have good news and bad news. Good news first. My leg is pretty much o-kay- now, and I'm able to dance again, and the scratches on my face are practically gone. I have a little swelling left in my ankle, but it'll be o-kay-. 

Now the bad news. I hope you are sitting down. Here it goes. I wrecked my car. Not bad, but it's not good. This lady in a black Eagle Talon slammed into me one day after school. She claimed I ran a red light and hit her. It's not true though. I cleared the light, and she jumped the gun. I tried to swerve, but she still got me. If I never would have swerved she would have hit the door on my side, and who knows what that would've done. So I got a $40 ticket, and I have to go to court on Nov. 14th at 8:00am. I'm scared. If I can't prove the accident was her fault, which it was, then I can't get my car fixed. The damage is not drastic, but she tore part of the metal siding of my car off, dented it in, and ruined the paint. The whole car will have to be repainted. It sucks, but hey! I'll get through it!

So anyway, that's my pathetic life. I'm stressed, sick and very exhausted, but I still have you, so I'll definitely survive.

So, how's school? Seminary? Church? Everything I hope is working out. Rumors are quite nasty, but it's what you know is true that counts. Remember, what goes around comes around. So sit back, take it easy and let life takes its' course. One of these days Mark will screw up big time and everyone will be there to see it. You won't have to do a thing, and I'll try not to. Just remember, you do have connections! Just jokin. I wouldn't do anything, and people down here are starting to cool off. I just want you to be happy.

I also have a tremendous surprise for you coming December first. I don't know how you'll react, but I hope you don't get mad. I don't think you will, but it will be a real shocker for you. So beware! 'Cause you won't know until next time you see me.

Well, I don't know what else to say. I'll think of you every chance I get.

Backstage Stooge

 Dear Ryan,  You're delightful and a real treat to be around, a regular jack who's so down to earth. What you see is what you get with you. No pretenses, no false fronts, no ulterior motives or ill intentions. You're one to say what you're thinking with your eyes, you can never hide behind lies, and your sighs give you away. Although you're an exceptional actor, you shed those roles only to recreate yourself whenever you feel you need to. I suspect you've got some secrets and perhaps you very well could be a demon in disguise. But I seriously doubt the dark side of you isn't just as beautiful as the light side. You're no one's fool and you're fooling no one. You've simply got to walk in any room and your energy speaks for itself.
