Somber Sleep

At midnight

I look out the shades

And up into the sky

My thoughts trail off

And focus on

A very special guy

At one o'clock

I go inside

And lay back in my bed

I think of you

And start to cry

And then cover up my head

At school I walk

A somber sleep

That no one seems to break

And when the day

Comes to an end

My somber sleep shall break

On the stars
