I was forced to emotionally withdraw from all those that I loved in order to find myself again. In an environment where no one knew me, but were forced to get to know me. They helped me see myself in a new light. The nickname that caught on for me among them was 'Sire.'
In process group, everyone was given the opportunity to provide me with positive descriptive words that embodied traits of my personality as they interpreted me. The only guidelines were that they could only use words that began with the letters of my first name. They provided me with some very insightful descriptions.
R: Real, royal and receptive.
Y: Youthful and yearning.
A: Aspiring and alluring.
N: Noble and natural.
Christian said that I had a presence and that when I was in the room everyone knew it. I found comfort in the words those around me felt I deserved. Especially knowing that they had only met me ten days prior. To know that they picked up on those characteristics was an immense compliment.
