Adam, Randy had soon decided, was a mess of nerves with volatile capacity. Attention seeking and so rawly insecure, yet beautifully individualized at the same time. All the faults that others found in him, and he found in himself were all the parts of the person he was. Why then, this intense attraction??
The goods and the bads, like a vanilla chocolate swirled dipped cone. Cool, smooth and dark on the outside, but with a churning and confusing center. It would stay smooth and cool unless disturbed. When disturbed it would quickly melt and be devoured, leaving nothing but a soggy, slightly crunchy cone that really wasn't the best parts of its' whole anyhow.
That's how Randy saw Adam, as a tempting treat, but too much of a risky mess to mess with at all.
