The words they speak torture my soul, as I sit quietly in the corner. Afraid to make a move, afraid to make a sound. Maybe what I have to say is a bit too profound. My mind doesn't work the way that theirs do. Thoughts run through my head, but my mouth remains motionless. Silence is something I value, more so than most people.
"Bored as sin?" He asks me when I glance his way.
"No." I lie, as he goes back to the conversation that seems miles away.
